A Magical Place
I want to drown in your water
I feel your mist across my seasoned cheeks
The sound of pouring rivers get louder
I could freeze in this moment for endless weeks
Close my eyes and imagine the past is clean
More so than the waves of the shore
Rock formations covered in wet moss
Mother Nature's wild lioness roar
It's like music to my baby ears
Or African drums pound straight to my chest
There's something primal about this place
Something tribal more so than the rest
No urban concrete jungle gentrification
Just leaves and trees and all God's creatures
Leeches of the world have no place here
No corporate scum or religious preachers
This is where I'd be happy to die
Or at least where you spread my remains
But keep in mind when I've lost my mind
To remind me of this day
